The Food Systems Coordinator will enjoy tremendous diversity in the daily job responsibilities, ranging from providing administrative support to the Dairy, Meat and Poultry, Consumer Protection and Animal Health sections of the Agency of Agriculture to engaging in activities that help ensure the efficiency and productivity of the Food Safety and Consumer Protection Division. Bachelor's degree AND employed for a minimum of one year by a state or federal dairy, produce or other food production regulatory program OR by a business that produces, distributes, or provides laboratory services to these food production industries.
Associate's degree AND employed for a minimum of two years by a state or federal dairy, produce or other food production regulatory program OR by a business that produces, distributes, or provides laboratory services to these food production industries.
High school diploma or equivalent AND employed for a minimum of three years by a state or federal dairy, produce or other food production regulatory program OR by a business that produces, distributes, or provides laboratory services to these food production industries.
Administrative duties are those beyond general clerical or secretarial, such as interpretation of laws, rules and regulations; data collection and analysis; managing support services; and implementing program policies and procedures.
